Lokale Agenda 21
To mark the 20th anniversary of Local Agenda 21 Vienna, we were asked to design a poster for the anniversary event series. Local Agenda 21 Vienna is an organization dedicated to sustainable urban development.
We chose “Urban Jungle” as the theme of the poster. The illustration includes references to some of LA21 Vienna’s projects and areas of activity, such as cycling, urban gardening, and local markets. The two figures painting, for example, symbolize LA21’s efforts to promote citizen participation in urban development. The yellow squares refer to the organization’s remembrance work, particularly the “memorial stones.” The “Language Café” project, depicted by two women drinking coffee together, represents LA21’s many intercultural projects.
